Additional Information: | 2019: This building is a two-story brick-clad commercial building that was constructed c.1920 and currently functions as Deer's Bar & Grill. It is in the commercial vernacular style and has a parapet roof with a central projection on the primary (east) elevation. The first story of the primary elevation is altered and contains one recessed entrance on its southern end and a secondary entrance hooded by a cantilevered awning on its northern end. The recessed entrance is flanked by banks of large glass windows over vinyl siding. A metal awning spans this half of the first story and is supported by metal beams set at an angle. A decorative neon sign sits over the secondary entrance. The second story consists of evenly spaced pairs of window openings with modern replacement windows and stone sills. A one-story brick addition is located on the north elevation and matches the rest of the building with brick cladding and a flat roof. Another addition is found on the southern elevation and consists of a small recessed side projection that houses an additional entrance under a metal-clad shed roof. |
