This 1866, two-story, brick commercial building has a rectangular plan and displays characteristics of the Italianate style.16
The building rests on a stone foundation. The front (west) facade and north (side) elevation are clad in brick while the
side (south) elevation is clad in stone. The flat roof features a modified parapet with modern dentils along the cornice.
Windows are generally replacements, with large fixed windows with metal columns on the first floor and fixed arch
windows with an applied divider to give the impression of a two-over-two configuration. The second-story windows on the
facade have painted hood molding and sills. The facade features two recessed entryways that can be accessed via
concrete steps. Since the building was initially inventoried during an intensive survey in Hudson in 1983, a board and
batten storefront has been removed to reveal the original brick facade. An entryway addition and two-story porch were
added to the side (south) elevation in 2016. The two-story porch has a metal-clad shed roof and is supported by square
pillars with decorative metal brackets and metal railing. The flat-roof entry addition is clad in vinyl siding and has a metal
awning over the double entrance doors.
