Additional Information: | This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1890. It is t-shaped in plan with a stone foundation, clapboard walls and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in plan with a front-gabled mass containing a large, single-pane picture window at the first story and a pair of 1-over-1 windows at the second story. Bands of vertical stickwork span the façade of the front-gabled mass below the first and second story windows with the first-story bank accentuated by a panel of decorative fish-scale shingles directly below the window. The wall below the front gable is also clad in fish-scale shingles. The front door is located in the ell created by the front-gabled mass and a side-gabled mass projecting from the southern elevation. A shed-roofed entry porch shelters the doorway and is accessed via a concrete stoop. A 3-sided bay window projects from the southern elevation and features fish-scale shingles below its 1-over-1 windows. |
