Additional Information:COATE HALL WAS BUILT IN 1966 AS A FOUR STORY, FLAT ROOFED, BRICK DORMITORY IN THE "CUBE" STYLE, WITH A U-SHAPED PLAN, EACH SQUARE OF THE U MAKING UP A "CUBE". EACH "CUBE" FLOOR HAD 16 DOUBLE-OCCUPANCY ROOMS AND A SHARED BATHROOM. THERE WERE SEVERAL DORMITORIES BUILT ON THE UW-LA CROSSE CAMPUS DESIGNED IN THIS STYLE IN THE 1960S. dormitory
