NOTES
Additional Information:2018-
The French Road Bridge is located in the Town of Freedom in Outagamie County. It was built between 1900 and 1910. Its engineer and contractor are not known.

The structure is a rubble-limestone, two-arch bridge with concrete-slab additions running the full length of both elevations. Springing from a slightly elevated stone pier that has been partially replaced by concrete columns, the two segmental arches each span 22 feet. Originally, the bridge probably had stone railings that ran the full length of the slightly flared, full-retaining abutments – a common detail on early twentieth-century, stone-arch bridges in the county. The bridge now has standard, highway, metal railings.
