| Bibliographic References: | The Douglass’s owned the frame building on this lot by no later than 1874, Tax rolls, City of Prairie du Chien, 1874. In 1905, it was purchased by Frank Voth, who continued the confectionery and notions business, Newsbrief (re: Douglas to Voth), The Kickapoo Chief (Wauzeka, WI), 27 July 1905, 8. Voth also added the brick veneered front prior to 1912.
