NOTES
Additional Information:2018 - Oakfield Junior/Senior High School was constructed in 1963. The one-story building has a sprawling rectilinear footprint and flat roof, and is mostly clad in brick. The symmetrical façade features a center projecting flat-roofed entrance bay. This portion of the building appears to have been renovated in recent years with stone veneer walls flanking a recessed entryway with an aluminum-framed set of glazed doors with sidelights and transoms. The center of the building, which presumably is the gymnasium, is two-stories in height with a shallow front gable roof. The front gable, though set back, is visible from the front of the school. Affixed to the ribbed metal sheathing on the front gable end, in large lettering, are the words “OAKFIELD MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL.” The remainder of the façade is brick interspersed with sets of aluminum-framed windows that share a continuous concrete sill/water table. A rock-faced concrete block garden bed has been added across the width of the façade. The flat roof of the brick portion of the school has a wide aluminum fascia.

The school appears to have two additions, both of which are constructed of precast pebbledash concrete panels and mostly void of windows. These additions are located at the southeast corner and off of the west side of the core brick portion of the building.
