Additional Information:This two-story commercial building was built in 1959. The building, located at the northeast corner of S. 92nd St. and W. Howard Ave., is square in plan with brick veneer walls and a shallow hipped roof. The ground level of the building contains a tavern, with entry doors at the southwest and southeast corners, a wide, high-set window, and a single window with ventilator inset. A one-story, cement block addition projects from the east (rear) of the building. An entry door in the northwest corner of the building leads to the second story, presumed to be residential. The second story contains single, paired, and picture windows. Throughout the building, the windows are aluminum with cast stone sills and fixed metal awnings.
