NOTES
Additional Information:2018 - Altered façade/storefront

(2018) This one-story commercial building dates to 1915. Sanborn maps reveal the building was of brick construction, with the current facade cladding obscuring that detail. This is corroborated by a 1960s postcard showing downtown Spooner. The image, looking northwest down Walnut Street from Front Street, shows the building with a brick facade and large display windows. The existing wood cladding and ribbon of windows are not historically appropriate for a building and appear to have been made outside the district's period of significance.
