NOTES
Additional Information:This astylistic utilitarian frame building was erected to house the Allan Ruste and Company hardware store in 1882. The buiding changed hands several times until 1909, when Robert Beat acquired the property and changed the name of the business to the Mount Horeb Hardware Company. The building housed the Mount Horeb Hardware Company (later an Ace Hardware) until at least 1996. The building originally had a two-story section (east) and a one-story section (west). A second story was added to the west section in 1914. The entire front was covered circa 1980. The current facade was installed sometime between 1996 and 2007.
