Additional Information:The Oconto River Bridge (B-42-329) was constructed in 1938 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). This concrete deck girder bridge consists of 2 spans, each of which measures 46.5 feet in length. The roadway over the bridge is a 2-lane, paved highway. Guardrails on each side of the bridge consist of stamped concrete posts that support three lengths of tubular metal rails. Larger concrete end posts on each side are stamped “WPA / 1938.” No maintenance data is available following the bridge’s 1938 construction.
