Additional Information: | 2017- "This farmstead consists of a house, garage, barn, two silos, and a small outbuilding. The c.1905 house (AHI No. 233405) is a two-story American Foursquare with a concrete-block foundation and walls clad in vinyl replacement siding. The hip roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features a central hip dormer on the front (east) facade. A one-story hip roof porch spans the front facade and shelters the central main entrance. A shallow two-story polygonal bay projects on the southeast corner, and a small hip-roof vestibule on the south elevation contains a secondary entrance. Most windows contain one-over-one, double-hung, replacement sash. A c.1920, front-gable garage (AHI No. 233408) at the rear (west) of the house has walls clad in drop siding and a gable roof covered with corrugated metal. A pair of doors with strap hinges are located on the east (front) facade. A c.1890 basement barn (AHI No. 233406) is located to the rear (west) of the house, and has a stone foundation, clapboard siding, and a gambrel roof covered with corrugated metal features and a peaked hay hood and doors in the east gable. A shed-roof concrete block milkhouse projects near the northeast corner. A hollow tile silo with a domed concrete roof is located on the south side of the barn, and a concrete stave silo with a domed metal roof is located on the north side. A small outbuilding (AHI No. 233407) near the southeast corner of the barn has rubble stone walls and a gable roof covered with standing seam metal.
