NOTES
Additional Information:2017- "Trinity Lutheran Church, built in 1955, is a one-story, front-gable, Contemporary church with a concrete foundation, brick masonry walls, and a gable roof covered with standing seam metal. A gable vestibule shelters the main entrance on the front (south) facade, which consists of a pair of glazed metal replacement doors. A pair of brick pilasters rise above the vestibule roof to flank a recessed random-ashlar plaque with a plain cross. A date stone on the facade reads "Trinity Lutheran Church 1955." Two small shed-roof wings extend on the east (side) elevation, one of which contains a secondary entrance accessed via an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant ramp near the northeast corner of the building. The gable ends of the vestibule and wings are clad in vinyl siding with vinyl soffits. Paired stained-glass windows are found along both side (north and south) elevations, and windows on the vestibule and wings have been infilled with glass block since 2010. 31 A sign is located on the lawn adjacent to the southwest corner of the building.

The Trinity Lutheran Church congregation was organized in 1905, but had no building of its own for nearly 50 years. Worshipers held services in members' homes and at a local schoolhouse until 1914. At that time, the congregation entered into an agreement with Gilmanton's Methodist congregation to use the Union Church (nonextant) on alternate Sundays. In 1953 the Methodists relocated, and Trinity Lutheran purchased the Union Church property. Two years later, the congregation razed the 1883 church and constructed the present building on the same site."
