| Additional Information: | 2016- "This one-story commercial vernacular building was constructed in 1900. It is clad in brick and its foundation is not visible. The building features a flat roof with an elaborate cornice detail on the front (west) facade; corbelled brick gives way to a metal frieze with vegetal and geometric patterns and a dentilled cornice. A large, projecting, decorative date plate reads “1900” and displays additional moulded coping. The storefront is made of infilled brick with sliding windows, a recessed entry, and a modern awning. The 1919 Sanborn Fire Insurance map of Pardeeville indicates that this building functioned a hardware store. It now houses the Caddy Shack bar and restaurant." -"STH 22: STH 16-CTH CM/Barry Rd", WisDOT#6050-00-01, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc. (2016). |
