Additional Information:BRUTALIST STYLE The County Child Adolescent Treatment Center, located adjacent to the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex to the east, was constructed in 1974 as a Brutalist style central building and three satellite buildings. The buildings have subsequently had a number of tenants in sections A through E including the Milwaukee Academy, Milwaukee County Cooperative, The University of Wisconsin Extension, Milwaukee County EMS, the CATC Auditorium, CESA Turning Point Elementary School and Plank Road School. 2023 - Complex consists of five brown brick buildings, all featuring flat roofs with mansard cornices, bands of tall marrow windows with inset brick spandrel panels, and spans of scored concrete that flank entrances and some window bays.
