Additional Information: | Our Redeemer Lutheran Church constructed a Neogothic Revival church in 1951. In 1967, Our Redeemer moved to a new location further west along North Avenue and sold the old church building. Subsequently, the old building was renamed the Bell Tower Office Building and has served as office space and various banks since. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church constructed a new Brutalist style Church and School in 1967. The congregation later added a significant addition to the building in 1988. 2024: This two-story former church with Late Gothic Revival influences was constructed in 1951. It is clad in stone veneer and has a cross-gable roof with a bell tower. A front-gable wing has been added to its side elevation. Windows include fixed, one-over-one units and pointed arch units that have been infilled. The main entrance is within a projecting gable and other entrances have stone arch surrounds and infilled fanlights. A shed-roof addition on the side elevation features drive-through windows. It currently functions as an office building. |
