Additional Information: | 2016- "Constructed c.1920, this one-and-one-half-story rectangular plan house rests on a stucco-covered foundation and the walls are covered in vinyl siding. The building displays modest Craftsman influences, such as the cross-gable roof with overhanging eaves and brackets, and the prominent front porch. A hip-roof porch with square wood columns with wood balustrade spans the main (east) elevation. Groups of windows flank the central main (east) entrance, and each group consists of a large, central, fixed sash window with leaded glass transom flanked by narrow, three-over-one, double-hung, sash windows. The main entrance consists of a wood panel and triple-light door flanked by two, six-over-one, fixed-pane, picture windows. Other fenestration includes wood, four-over-one, double-hung sash and vinyl, one-over-one, double-hung sash, all with simple wood surrounds." -"STH 23: County Shop Rd to Minerva St", WisDOT#5245-02-02/72 and 5245-02-02/73, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (2016). |
