NOTES
Additional Information:St. Agnes Cemetery was established in 1884 when 10 acres of land was purchased for $1.00 from the City of Ashland by St. Agnes Catholic Church. Ten more acres were purchased from the Gingles family in 1918, at which time the gates were likely added to the property. Additional land was purchased in the 1960s from the McDougal family. Note: the photo shown in this record shows the gates of the Mt. Hope Cemetery across the road from the St. Agnes Cemetery (232768), not the ones associated with St. Agnes, which are indeed clad in stucco.
