NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property named 'Wausau Municipal Airport'. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This T-Hangar was constructed in 1977, and is a side-gabled rectangular structures with horizontal metal siding and roof, with space on the interior for 10 separate, T-shaped hangars. Each hangar space is accessed via a metal pedestrian door in the lower left corner of the hangar door. Unlike the first T-hangars constructed in 1962, these hangars are arranged in a nested configuration, leading to a wider and shorter rectangular structure. Also unlike the 1962 hangars, the bifold doors are powered by electricity and not a counterweight system.
