Bibliographic References:The American Contractor, November 14, 1914, p59, cites the following: "Res.: 2 sty. & bas. 28 x 52. Hartford, Wis. Archt. E.J. Peege, 643 Oakland av., Milwaukee. Owner Jos. Schwartz Brew Co., Hartford. Excavating. Frame and stucco. Owners will do masonry by day labor." This citation was found AFTER the National Register nomination was completed in which it is believed that the architect was E.J. Peege, but without 100% confirmation.
