The building features modest Art Moderne attributes with its rounded corner, horizontal bands of windows and use of glass block. The entrance faces S. 561th Street and is centered within a projecting, two-story block that is sheathed with irregular coursed, cut limestone. It is sheltered by a one-story, flat-roof canopy featuring round steel supports. A tall, vettically oriented glass block window is found above the canopy. The fire truck bay faces W. Oklahoma Avenue and feahtres a modest flat-roof canopy. Above the fire truck bay on the upper level, a horizontal band of windows wraps around to the east elevation. A one-story block with a rounded corner is situated within the intersection of the entrance block and fire truck bay block. The rounded corner is accented with glass block set within a horizontal band of windows. An additional entrance is located to the west of these windows. Excepting the glass block windows, fenestration is entirely modern." -"W. Oklahoma Ave: S. 60th St (west) to S. 49th St (east)", WisDOT#2400-00-02, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd.
