Additional Information:This building was constructed in 1924 by H. Schmidt & Sons, Inc. for G. M. Schackell. The first occupant was the Pierce Cloak Company which gave way by 1931 to Polonia Credit Company Clothing. Columbia Credit Clothiers, Inc. occupied the building from the late 1930s to the mid 1960s. It currently operates as a furniture store. 2015- "Faced with brick, this two-story Twentieth-Century Commercial building has a storefront consisting of a recessed entrance and replacement plate-glass windows. Modern materials and signage cover the space between the storefront windows and those on the second floor, which consists of a wooden-framed window wall consisting of plate-glass windows, a set of swinging doors and a transom. A denticulated stone cornice lies underneath a plain brick parapet with stone cap. This building was constructed in 1924 by H. Schmidt & Sons, Inc. for G. M. Schack ell.
