| Additional Information: | 2015- This one-story, irregular-plan, Ranch-style house was constructed c.1960. It is of frame construction, has stucco cladding, and rests on a concrete slab. Asphalt shingles cover the gently pitched hip roof. The house features an attached garage with an original aluminum garage door and a wide eave overhang. Windows include replacement, double-hung vinyl; casement; and sliders. One ribbon window is tucked under the eave on the front (east) facade. The primary entry is located on the facade and a set of sliding doors is located in the breezeway that connects the main house to the garage. The house features modest Ranch-style influences, including a large stone-veneer planter on the front facade, ribbon and corner windows, an attached garage with a breezeway, and a low pitched roof with wide eave overhangs. It is a modest example of the Ranch style, which is common in Holmen. The house exhibits some alterations, including replacement windows, which diminishes historic integrity. |
