The Mayville City Dam is a reinforced concrete dam, constructed in 1946. The dam consists of seven bays; three of which are equipped with adjustable metal gates to regulate water flow. The dam has concrete sidewalls, and a walkway with tubular metal guardrails is located across the top of the dam.
