Additional Information: | Constructed in 1930, William Zentner’s plumbing shop was this building’s first primary occupant. Zentner was born abt. 1871 and worked as a master plumber until the early 1950s. Although, Eggers Plumbing had replaced Zentner’s concern by 1938, the building by that time also featured photography and novelty stores. After World War II, the building housed an equipment supply company and a vending machine servicing business. 2015- "This brick, Art Deco-style commercial building rises two stories and is topped with a flat roof whose cornice features a carved stone parapet adorned with geometric motifs. The recessed entrance at the center features doorways for two separate businesses. The storefronts to either side display replacement plate-glass windows or wooden (or metal) paneling. An open vehicle entrance is located to the left (east) side and both corners exhibit carved stone pilasters. Carved stone panels are located above and below the (frequent) six-over-one, double-hung sashes on the second level. Constructed in 1930 and designed by Hugo V.
