NOTES
Additional Information:2016: "This c.1965 Phillips 66 gas station displays several character-defining features of a standard design used by the company for its service stations from the early 1950s to approximately 1970. These include an oblong form, an upwardly projecting triangular canopy, and large sloping plate glass windows, which dominate the front (north) facade and side (west) elevation. Exterior walls are constructed of concrete block, and there are multiple entrances to the building. Two garage bays with overhead doors are located east of the canopy, which appear to be original to the building. The footprint of the building has more than doubled, however, as a result of a large modern corrugated metal addition to the east side. The property no longer functions as a gas station, and consequently the pumps have been removed." -"Interstate Hwy I-39 & STH 60 Interchange", WisDOT #1012-01-04, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (2016). 2022: Replacement siding, substantial loss of architectural details.
