NOTES
Additional Information:This one-story modest Neo-Classical Revival commercial building was constructed c.1915. It is clad in red brick and has
a flat roof with simple metal coping. The front (south) facade features a simple wood cornice with entablature, brick
pilasters with decorative cap and base. The entryway on the front facade has been downsized and replaced with a
modern entrance door. The large fixed window centered on the facade has been downsized along with the other windows
throughout the building. Windows are one-over-one, double-hung, replacement sash. A one-story flat roof brick addition
is located at the rear (north) elevation. A modern wooden deck is located on the side (east) elevation.

The building functioned as an insurance office in 1919, replacing an earlier frame dwelling on that site in 1910, and
appeared to be vacant at the time of survey.

Although the property retains the pilasters, heavy frieze, and cornice typical of the Neo-Classical Revival style, it is a modest expression and has been altered with downsized window openings, replacement sash, and a rear deck.
