Additional Information: | This 1-story vernacular meeting hall was constructed in 1910 as the Modern Woodmen of America Hall. It is rectangular in plan with sheet metal and asphalt siding and a metal-clad gable roof with a large stepped parapet along the facade. The front elevation faces west and is symmetrical in plan with two pairs of entry doors recessed in the center of the first story. Each door is of glass and wood construction. A flat-roofed awning/marquee is suspended above the entrance by five metal cables. The parapet above is clad in metal sheeting while both side elevations are clad in asphalt siding. The interior of the building was not available for viewing at the time of survey and no interior spaces were visible through the clouded glass of the front doors. The property owner could not be reached for information regarding the building's interior and phone messages were not returned. |
