Additional Information: | This One Story Cube house was constructed c.1880. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation, red brick walls, and an asphalt-shingled irregular roof. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan. A 1-story front porch spans the width of the facade. The porch is sheltered by a shed-roofed projection of the main roofline and has simple wood support posts and railings. Inside the porch is a single-pane window, a doorway, and a large picture window; all of these have simple wood surrounds with arched wooden crowns. A front-gabled dormer projects from the front and side roof slopes; each of these is clad in vinyl siding and contains two 1-over-1 windows. |
