Additional Information: | A 'site file' titled Lake Mills Downtown Commercial Historic District exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. The Pyramid Cafe was constructed in 1950. It is a one-story commercial vernacular building clad in a combination of wood paneling with a decorative floral detail and brick. The front (east) facade features a canted entryway flanked by fixed-pane storefront windows. The flat roof with pyramidal spire is covered with metal. The overhanging eave shelters the front facade. The building currently operates as the Café on the Park. A site visit in June 2014 confirmed the interior retains an open floor plan and the original dining counter with stools. |
