It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2014 This two-and-one-half-story cross-gable house was constructed c.1890. It is of frame construction, covered in stucco, and rests on a concrete block foundation. The roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features and interior brick chimney. The asymmetrical front (west) facade features a recessed arch covered with wood shake shingles supported by paired decorative brackets, simple stringcourse, and a fixed oval window in the gable end. Pent roofs supported by decorative brackets are located in the gable ends of the side (north and south) elevations. A low-pitched hip roof porch with overhanging eaves supported by square piers spans the front facade. The piers display decorative geometric detail. Windows are a combination of one-over-one, double-hung sash and fixed. A modern addition, including an attached garage, is located on the rear (east) elevation. |
