NOTES
Additional Information:This 1 1/2 story Bungalow was constructed c.1920. It is rectangular in plan with red brick walls and an asphalt-shingled
hipped roof. The front elevation faces east and is symmetrical in plan with a central front door flanked by banks of three
3-over-1 windows. Brick pier supports at each front corner suggests that this area was originally an open front porch that
has since been enclosed. A clipped-gable dormer projects from the front roof slope; this contains three 3-over-1 windows
and is clad in vinyl siding.

The building is in good condition and retains a moderate degree of integrity (the porch was
likely enclosed within the historic period, but the addition of vinyl siding to the dormers is relatively recent). Although the
house's Bungalow form is recognizable, the enclosure of the front porch alters the original plan of the building and renders
it only a mediocre representative of the style. Finer example of Bungalow architecture can be found elsewhere in Racine
(WHPD records 69 others in the city).

This building has not been previously surveyed. A new AHI record was created.
