Additional Information: | 2014- "This 2-story Commercial Vernacular building was constructed c.1890. It is rectangular in plan with vinyl siding and a flat roof with a false front. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan with a bank of four casement windows and a 1-over-1 window at the first story and two 6-over-6 windows at the second story. All windows are modern replacements. The front door is located in the west elevation near the northwest corner of the building. Decorative brackets are located along the false front below the “roofline.” The building’s interior consists of a large open space with carpeted floors and tiled ceilings. An archway has recently been constructed along part of the ceiling to designate separate sections of the shopping space. The building currently functions as a clothing store." -"STH 42: Bluff Lane (Gibraltar) to Country Walk Dr (Sister Bay), WisDOT#4140-19-00, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2014). |
