It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. BUILT BY THE WISCONSIN-MICHIGAN RAILROAD AS A RAILROAD BRIDGE. NOW USED AS A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. HAER WI-60. DEMOLISHED IN EITHER 1987 OR 1988. The bridge is unusual, in that it consists of two unequal spans, one measuring 162 feet and the other 221 feet. HAER WI-60. Modified for car and truck traffic, the single-lane bridge served until 1992, when a new concrete span structure was finished. |
