| Additional Information: | This one-and-one-half-story, Contemporary-style house is sheathed with vertical board-and-batten siding, with foundation trim and chimneys finished in limestone. The low-pitched, front-gabled house with exposed rafters features a projecting garage wing to the south, which includes a tripartite window grouping along its primary (east) elevation. The main block of the house includes a tripartite window grouping adjacent the exterior stone chimney, the primary entrance, as well as a single rectangular window within the gabled peak. Original plans indicate that the garage window and the gabled peak window were designed to include diamond-paned windows; however, it remains unknown of those windows were actually executed per the plans. This house was built in 1973; the original owner’s name (per the permit) was James Lombardo; however, it is unclear if he actually resided on the home. The home was estimated to cost $26,000 and the architect/contractor is identified as Richard Daeda of New Berlin. |
