Historic plat maps from 1873-74 indicate that a store, the Jackson Post Office, and a school building stood on this property. This 1 1/2 story Front Gabled house (AHI#224940) was constructed circa 1880. It is rectangular in plan with aluminum siding and an asphalt-shingled roof. At the first level of the west elevation, the door is in the center with triple, single pane windows evenly spaced on either side.
