It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This farmstead consists of eight historic resources including two houses, a pump house, dairy barn, bank barn, basement barn, granary, and garage. All resources are associated in AHI No. 4877. The astylistic utilitarian dairy barn was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with a coursed stone foundation wall, vertical board walls, and an asphalt-shingled gambrel roof. A sliding barn door is located in the center of the foundation wall of the west elevation; glass block windows are located on either side of the barn door. A new 6-over-6 window is located just below the roof peak. A small, gable-roofed milk-house projects from the south elevation of the foundation wall. The north elevation contains an earth and stone ramp to a large sliding barn door. A poured concrete silo is attached at the northeast corner. |
