Additional Information:FRONT GABLED ENTRANCE BAY TOPPED BY SQUARE ENGAGED TURRET. TURRET W/SHALLOW FRONT GABLED ROOF AND SMALL ROUND WINDOW. ROUND ARCH FANLIGHT TRANSOM OVER DOOR. NARROW DORIC PILASTERS. POINTED ARCH STAINED GLASS SIDE WINDOWS. UNUSUAL SEMI-COURSED COBBLESTONE FOUNDATION. Cornerstone date of 1938 is the date the church was moved to this site. The church was originally built as the Salem Evangelical Church in 1873 and was located in nearby Belle Plaine Station. 2022: This building appears to have been demolished.
