It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Built by WPA in 1938 as field housing and research laboratory for agriculture and insect research for the University of Wisconsin School of Agriculture in the 1940s and early 1950s. See AHI 220975 for main record of property. 2012- "This one-story, frame building rests on a concrete foundation pierced by six-light windows. A gabled wing projects to the south while a second is attached to the main block's eastern facade. The building is sheathed with vertical board siding and is outfitted with six- or nine-light windows. The building was constructed in 1938 by the WPA as field housing and a laboratory for agricultural and, later, insect research.
