The lower half is sheathed with Lannon stone while the upper half is covered with wooden shingles. A gabled roof projects to the east and provides shade for a picnic table. The building's west facade is pierced by a large picture window overlooking the Pike River. The building contains both indoor and outdoor water spigots." -"Petrifying Springs Park DOE", Signed by Michael E. Stevens, SHPO (2012). |
