2012- "This partially enclosed rustic shelter features fieldstone half walls and is topped with a hipped roof, that is supported by heavy timber posts. The upper half of the walls is sheathed with vertical board siding. Two corbeled brick chimneys rise through the roof peak. Part of the north and south ends of the building are concession areas whose counter windows are protected by board siding doors. The center part of the shelter is open and defined by closely spaced wooden posts. This shelter was built in 1939 by the WPA When built, it included a picnic shelter, concession stands and locker rooms for a nearby baseball field."
