NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' (Antigo Ranger Station) exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation.

The Antigo Ranger Station, which was designed by the WPA/DNR, was built in 1935. (See Bib. Ref. A). The ranger station has functioned as such since its construction date. The Astylistic Utilitarian, one and a half-story structure features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Intersecting with the main roof in the attic story are dormers. The building is in good condition.

An addition of the office annex built in 1980 affected the integrity of the building.
An associated building, the garage stands on the site.
