NOTES
Additional Information:2023: St. John’s Lutheran Church is two stories with an irregular plan. It is contemporary in style and built ca. 1955. It is constructed of cream stone. There is no foundation visible. The original church nave features a gable roof clad in asphalt shingles. The main entrance is located on the west facing façade and is under a covered entry. On the west elevation there are two additions; one of the same cream-colored stone and has a flat roof. The larger addition is rectangular in plan, with a flat roof and is constructed of stamped concrete block. A large overhang shields the entrance on the south façade and is large enough for cars to drive under. Another addition is located on the east/northeast façade and may in fact be the rectory. It is a single story, with a rectangular plan and capped with a low-pitched roof with asphalt shingles. It is clad with horizontal composite siding at the top and cream stone below mimicking the stone façade of the church. There is a large stained-glass window on the front façade in the gable end and another smaller window on the south façade also in the gabled end. The remaining windows are either 2/2 vinyl single hung or commercial vinyl windows. St. John’s Lutheran Church is two stories with an irregular plan. It is contemporary in style and built ca. 1955. It is constructed of cream stone.
