Additional Information: | Located in the historic Town of Sheboygan Falls, plat maps suggest that the subject house was likely built by Albert Born and his wife Mary between 1905 and 1910. Albert, a farmer, was born in Wisconsin in April 1875; he married Mary Schueffner in 1897. They first resided in the Town of Lima, Sheboygan County, however, by 1910, the Borns had purchased the subject property. In 1927, the farm was purchased (or first rented) by Walter Behlow Sr. and his wife Helen (nee Stolper), who actively operated the farm until 1962. Walter died in 1961, while his wife passed away in 1979, at which time the farm was still owned by the Helen. |
