Additional Information: | PROJECTING CENTRAL PORTION W/ FLANKING HIP ROOFED SIDEWINGS BUILT AS ANTIGO'S 1ST HOSPITAL "Antigo's Landmarks" reports that this was the city's first hospital, organized by Dr. I. D. Steffen in 1889. In 1918 Dr. G. W. Moore took over operation of the hospital; his nephew Dr. G. E. Moore assumed control in 1922. Like the Daskam Hospital (AHI #22010), this hospital operated until the Langlade Memorial Hospital opened in 1933. |
