NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. The Scott Methodist Episcopal Church Parsonage is significant as a good example of a Queen Anne style architecture in Merrill.

The earliest records of the Scott Methodist Episcopal Church concerning the parsonage were in 1904, when meetings were held for the building of the parsonage. Apparently the house was constructed within the year, as by 1905 Reverend D. Woodward, the church's current pastor, was listed at this address. This building was used as a parsonage at least as late as 1945.
