Additional Information:RETURNED MOULDED EAVES. PORCH ON A ROCK FACED CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION. THE FRED C. BRAUN HOUSE IS SIGNIFICANT UNDER CRITERION C AS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF VERNACULAR RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE IN MERRILL, AND AS A CONTRIBUTING RESOURCE IN THE THIRD STREET RESIDENTIAL HISTORIC DISTRICT. IN 1915 FRED AND WILHELMINA BRAUN WERE LISTED AS RESIDENTS AT THIS ADDRESS. BY 1925, THE LISTING CHANGED TO FRED E. BRAUN, PERHAPS FRED C'S SON. MRS. FRED BRAUN STILL OWNED THE HOUSE IN 1939.
