Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. SEE 419-423 MAIN ST. (R#21422) FOR PHOTO. The Arcade Building is a five story brick building with such exterior features as white-glazed terra cotta trim and pilasters with decorative capitols. In 1966, this elevation was covered with a metal grill. The grill has since been removed. Historic interior features remaining (1995) include terrazzo flooring, decorative ceiling olaster, bowling alleys, concrete stairways, wood paneled doors, transoms, and wooden trim.
