| Additional Information: | 2020 - Garage is included as part of the Stanchfield House property (AHI 16626) in the 2011 Fond du Lac Historic and Architectural Intensive Survey, completed by Heritage Research Inc. A contributing garage/carriage house is located southeast of the house. Constructed in 1980, the structure is clad in wooden clapboards with a side gabled roof and central front-gabled cross gable, double hung 2-over-2 windows in the eaves of the gables and side elevations, and three single-bay garage doors on the western façade. A square, gable-roofed tower with paired round-arched windows is located at the ridgelines of the cross gables. Doorways and windows feature similar square hood molds to the main house. |
