Additional Information:This two and one half story structure is built of brick; has a flat roof, a corbeled cornice, vertical brick piers, and jack-arched window hoods. Buit in 1851 as the first church of Janesville's Baptist congregation, which had been formed in 1844. During the 1860s, the church was sold to Tallman & Collins, who used it as a "perfume laboratory."
